Happy birthday, dear Emilia.

A very happy birthday to a very special girl who has brought immeasurable joy to my life these past four years.

For seven months she'd been asking to be taken along to my running group, and tonight her wish finally came true. She wore her brand new running shoes, shorts, and shirt and ran the last leg (as opposed to riding in the stroller), whereupon she was cheered in by all of the earlier finishers.

Back at home she received her second annual big bag of birthday popcorn, tri-colour this year.

Emilia will turn four in her sleep. (Or at least I hope she will be asleep, as she was born at 11:45 pm!) Here's your last look at 3... xoxo
