School Days
Today was Emilia's first day of preschool. It's two mornings a week, 2.5 hours a morning, not a big deal. She didn't cry at all; I didn't cry much. There are four other children in her class ranging, by website description, from two and a half to four years old. Emilia is the youngest at two years and three months, but she didn't seem to have any trouble keeping up. When I asked her what she had done at school she told me Katie was her teacher, they'd eaten muffins and apple sauce (I knew this; I'd volunteered to provide snack!) and she'd gone to the potty. I asked her if she'd gone to the potty with Katie. No, she hadn't. The person who had taken her had had 'no glasses'. Several minutes later, out of nowhere, she added, "Blow bubbles." It sounds as though she had a nice time. And once I figure out what to do with myself, I suspect I will too!
